We made the switch to Zoom for Government as soon as it became available — it was important for us to have the security that comes with it. There are a lot of good services out there but they don't meet the security standards for the Department of Defense.
"Zoom offers a variety of features that meet the needs of the education industry. The product is magic, but it’s the people behind the partnership and beyond the tool that we want to work with. Vendors who offer ongoing support and who we can build a relationship with are key for us."
Even though I’ve been on a 4-megabit connection for the last two years, I don’t feel like I’ve missed a step. That would not have been possible without Zoom. Even with other video conferencing technologies, like Teams or Webex, the experience is just not the same. Zoom works in environments where other solutions don’t.
“We started piloting Zoom Phone in January, which ended up being a fortunate confluence of events because we started working from home shortly after due to COVID-19. Our executives asked us, ‘What are we going to do about our phone system?’ We were able to get everyone in the company a Zoom Phone number in a week.”
“We had a lot of end users that needed to attend webinars for certifications, trainings, things of that nature, and we were using GoToMeeting’s webinar solution for that.”
"When we made the transition to working from home, it was almost seamless. Zoom can scale to support all our users working remotely."
“As teachers, we often feel as though the thing that stops us from recreating that classroom feeling during online learning is that disconnect between the teacher and the student. We don’t know if they’ve understood the lesson, we don’t know if they have any questions or whether they are zoning Zoom, I have always felt that connection to my students.”
“We hosted a conversation with a polar bear expert in northern Canada who was using his satellite phone to broadcast directly into the classroom, which was incredible. We want to move to a place where our travelers can use mobile devices for their presentations, so we can have someone live from a market in India, or from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. It’s really exciting.”
“I found Neat’s hardware on Zoom’s website, and after assessing things like affordability and ease of deployment, we decided to order a Neat Bar. We tested it out, and once we showed it to the leadership team, there was this excitement as we realized, ‘This feels different than just Zooming from home’. We could all see the possibilities of how we could use it.”
“Every aspect of incorporating Zoom into our workflow was vital. If we didn’t have that I don’t think we could have turned it around and started seeing patients in three days.”
"I already knew about Zoom when we were approved to start using telehealth, and I really liked the platform. Out of all the platforms I’ve used, Zoom is the simplest, it’s got the best feature set, and it’s got the best quality as well.”
“For a number of reasons, the Neat Bars became the product of choice for our Zoom Rooms. The quality of the video, the clarity of the features, the fact that it will automatically end a meeting after everyone has left the meeting room is great. In my IT strategy, I aim for simplicity, resilience, and innovation, and with Zoom and Neat, we get all three.”
“We think what makes Zoom so special is the wealth of available technical features that help the online events’ organization be efficient, but also its user-friendliness from the host, panelist, and attendee perspectives.”
“We've made progress in raising awareness of the work style reform at DENSO. The introduction of Zoom has contributed greatly to our ability to create a work environment with fewer time and place restrictions and faster decision-making.”
"We needed a tool that was easy to use and intuitive to use, as it would increase opportunities for employees who are not used to using IT tools or don't have the time to learn how to use them."
