"TradeGecko has formed the heartbeat of our business, allowing us to manage the end-to-end supply chain across our 5 global warehouses."
“(As) a consumer electronics business it probably could remain viable with 100 shops. But when you have the utter greed of modern capitalism, when they opened 300 shops. it’s going to go broke.”
“All companies have rules and guidebooks. But Uniqlo is on another level entirely. There’s just a sense of urgency about everything in this place.”
"There’s a really good experience that you get when you go to a craft beer bar or a bottle shop, where you rely on them to give you some guidance on discovering new beers. We thought, we can do the same online and deliver to people’s homes, so that customers still get that good experience."
"I would recommend TradeGecko to businesses that are attempting to sell both online and offline. I think they would benefit greatly from this technology because it helps them structure the way they think about their organization."
"Peace of mind – just knowing that everything is up to date."
"After starting to use TradeGecko, I’d say we save 60-75% of time each day- what used to be spent wrestling with spreadsheets. This allows us to be more effective in other spheres of our business, allows us to be more well-rounded and frees us up to go out and advance our business in myriad of different ways."
“We’ve built a TradeGecko integration that gives us shipping estimates, by tapping into USPS, FedEx and UPS’s APIs so that when we create an order in TradeGecko, we move into our app, get all the shipping estimates, choose one and apply that to an invoice as a shipping line."
"We travel to a lot of trade shows so we needed something that was very flexible and could talk to our different locations, so we can take orders on the spot."
“The real-time information helps capitalize on every sales opportunity, so we know right away where to get stock instead of wasting time on manual checks.”
"We've got people in Palo Alto working on software, and in Japan and Hong Kong working on R&D. Being a multinational team also lets us gear our marketing specifically to local markets with localised content. Drones are where we started, but we're more about developing easy-to-use systems for things that were complex before. We have a design team, an embedded software team, a team working on flight control systems, production studios in LA and Beijing making tutorial videos - all of which means we can simplify what would have taken a year of training so that now a dad can stream video of the baby walking, shot using a drone."
“We have looked at other countries such as Bangladesh and Vietnam but tend to reject them on the basis that they are harder to audit or have very large MOQs. We prefer to work with smaller factories who really value our orders and can deliver quality for mid market price points. Our styles have a lot of detail and need to be of a very high standard and large volume manufacturers tend to struggle to make this work. Our European factories work on specific ranges which we can just about still make with them, but this means cutting our margins.”
"I was about 29, 30, travelling through Seattle and saw this mobile espresso cart that a Boeing engineer built. I thought, That’s a good idea. I moved back to New Zealand, got a government grant, borrowed money off my dad and was in business. I was always obsessed with flavour and started researching not only coffee, but coffee-roasting equipment too. I bought a roaster out of Sydney, dragged it home and rebuilt it. That’s where I learned my craft. It wasn’t long before I started approaching a few restaurants and had created a little wholesale distributing business."
"We want to get people outside, help people get back to enjoying being outdoors, and not as a marketing initiative publicity stunt, but because it’s in our core values. That’s what makes me want to come to work every day: sticking to the values that make our company great."

I Learned Quickly That If You Want To Be Successful You Need To Welcome Challenges And Learn By Mistakes.
