  • "Our tech department has a responsibility to keep our district and our data safe. The Panorama team was kind and responsive, and gave us the technical answers we needed. We could confidently say to our superintendent that this product will make an impact."

  • "We were able to work with our colleagues at Panorama to find areas where Panorama topics and our Portrait of a Graduate competencies had a good match.”

  • “We were actually seeing some concerning data about learning loss between school years—even for students who we had done a really great job of transition planning for. We felt that summer was a huge missed opportunity.”

  • “Whenever I talk to a buddy student, I’ll show them Panorama. The green, yellow, and red indicators make it very clear why they’ve been selected. I’ve worked with two girls who were failing fine arts, and showed both of them Panorama. I also opened up communication with their fine arts teacher. Every day in my class, I would ask the girls how things were going in the fine arts class just a daily conversational check-in. Those classes ended up turning around.”

  • “Two of my buddy students had been getting A’s and B’s in the beginning of the year but dropped to C’s and D’s. For both students, we implemented an intervention around Homework Club. I also started positive, and if needed, negative communication home. We use the Google Voice text messaging app to provide regular updates to parents about whether the students are attending Homework Club or whether they had a good day at school. Both students have been successful with some ongoing support. I’m pleased we were able to catch them early in Panorama and provide them with interventions to help them improve their grades.”

  • “My buddy student from my special ed caseload was struggling in social studies and science and had attendance issues. My first step was to connect with his mother. She shared that he was missing days for medical treatment. This helped me understand what was going on and got the mom working on our team. The second step was lunch group meetings, where he’d come with one or two friends. We’d have a nice time, but also get 15 or 20 minutes worth of work done. He’s done great in the last two terms, so we’re planning to remove some of his special services. You can really see the maturity level; his attendance and academics have improved.”

  • “We wanted to build the leading SEL program in Mississippi, and in the country. We have a rough district: high poverty, gangs, low academic performance, low parental engagement—it’s a lot to work through. So if an SEL program could work for us, if it could boost our district’s academic performance and decrease behavior referrals, then it could work for any district.”

  • “When we started working with Panorama, we asked them to help us collect feedback from more of our community in order to get a more representative data set. The results have been remarkable. We collected three times as many surveys from families than we did last year. Working with Panorama, we have made a huge leap forward in a positive direction with our survey program.”

  • "Everyone knows that what gets measured, gets done, and Panorama’s surveys add an important data source to our district improvement plans. For our school community, the survey is an engagement tool in itself.”

  • "Parents are very grateful that we know their names, that we thank them for dropping their children off. We create strong relationships with parents and the community.”

  • “The students love it. You’d see students carrying Baby Yoda down the hallway, and it’s more meaningful than individual students winning something. It’s the entire class working together.”

  • "Panorama helps us get out in front of students and groups of students who are falling off track before we have to be in reaction mode. We're also able to understand if our efforts are making a difference at the individual student, school, and district levels."

  • “Viewing this data is about leading with a sense of wonder. We need to seek to understand instead of feeling defensive.”

  • "What Panorama gives to us is priceless. In the future, we will have fewer children falling through the cracks. I think we're going to save a few kids based on the data we receive."

  • "So often when you bring new information into educators' lives, it can appear overwhelming. But Panorama has been welcomed by all 29 elementary schools. Not one principal has pushed back."
