"V-locity has helped my environment. Our system was spiking the CPU very high and causing network issues and we had to kill the process to fix the issue. “I consider Diskeeper to be a valuable tool and am very pleased with our deployment of it. We have Diskeeper Administrator running on our internal domain and use it to deploy and manage our Diskeeper clients. We have defrag policies set up and use them to keep production running. I personally like the ease of use the Admin Console gives me to manage and deploy new installs on our network. With just a few clicks I can edit defrag policies to fit our production needs as we bring up different workloads and shifts. Before we just used the built-in defrag tool in Windows to defrag servers and PCs. By using Diskeeper and the Admin Console, I can automate all of that and know that it is being done. Each morning I have scheduled reports which run to inform us of the current fragmentation levels and performance indicators. I also have it set up to email when a new upgrade is ready and can see all the machines it is installed on and what version they are running. This makes my task of managing these systems so much easier for me and my co-workers.”

“I am glad to give references for Diskeeper. We have been using Diskeeper Server for years. I used to receive frequent alerts on server drive fragmentation. After installing your Diskeeper, I have yet to see an alert and have noticed no impact on overall system performance. We are running a few Oracle 9i databases at our site. We have 5 Cybernetics DAS RAID 5 arrays, 1 Lefthand Network iSCSI SAN, a Dell EMC / AX100i iSCSI SAN, and an EMC CX-310 fibrechannel SAN at our site. We also have a Dot Hill fibrechannel SAN for email archiving. We have multiple Lotus Notes production and failover servers and use VMware ESX on 4 host servers running this software."

“I love using Diskeeper on our Backup Exec Server; this is the real success story. It can have 10 jobs that write to 50 GB files all at the same time. This fragments the heck out of our 13 TB drive tower. The Windows defrag wouldn’t keep up or even finish. I was always reaching 99% fragmentation on this drive, causing my backups to go all the way from Friday to Wednesday of the following week. When I contacted the backup solution company about the severe fragmentation they suggested only running one job at a time. This was just unacceptable as the jobs would not complete in the allotted time window."

“I thought you may like to know that V-Locity saved me yesterday! I was trying to correct a VMFS storage space issue after I was advised by my VM backup vendor to run sDelete on all the server drives to improve performance. As it turns out, VMware does not recognize this zeroed disk space as ‘free’ but as ‘used’ which filled up my datastores! This resulted in some of servers going into stand by and after a lot of research, there did not seem to be any quick solution."

“Undelete has worked very well for us. We had been discovering that data was being deleted months prior before we realized it was gone. The backup tapes write over each week and also each quarter so we lost the data. Each morning I review and cross reference our backup with the Undelete data. If I find a large amount of data is added to Undelete, I do a query. A few times I found that information files were inappropriately deleted and we were able to save the files.”

“V-locity is a very valuable tool. I noticed improvement in response time working remotely on a VMware View desktop that was optimized using V-locity. I most enjoy maintaining the defragmented status of our virtual machines so as to decrease access times on machines with many guests running simultaneously. V-locity immediately went to work after installing it on our guest systems. Without touching the product, other than to view a ‘before’ image of the disk utilization, file access times and boot processes were improved within 24 hours and the changes were noticeable to end-users."

"I use the Automatic defrag so use of Diskeeper is very easy. We are seeing very good results and the files are more efficiently organized on the disks than before. We use Diskeeper in a data warehouse environment. It means that every night we delete a lot of datasets and we re-created a lot of new datasets. The disks were always very fragmented. With the Windows defrag tool it was not possible to defragment the disks in a fast way. The programs that use this data warehouse require fast disk access. That's why a well-organized disk is important for us. With Diskeeper we can reorganize the disk quickly and keep it well organized.”
