“TouchBistro’s Online Ordering system has really helped us. To our surprise, we’ve had a tremendous influx of customers recently. People get a little nervous about standing in line, or they don’t wanna stand in a long line and wait, so now they have that option [to order] through the online ordering system. They can place their order in the comfort of their own home, on their time. They can even order it for a couple hours later so that it’s ready when they’re ready to pick it up. And then they don’t have to come wait in line or deal with the crowds.”
"TouchBistro’s menu programming capabilities are phenomenal. There are a lot of user-friendly features, like the ability to split checks and combine seat numbers through drag and drop."
"It has helped by being so user-friendly. It’s easy to train staff on, resulting in less training hours required."
"We've been able to eliminate extra steps during our order taking process; we no longer have to re-enter orders into a stationary POS. Nor do we need to leave the table to process payments."
“TouchBistro has taken the guesswork out of determining which of our menu items aren't selling."
“We love the touchscreen technology. Changes to our floor plan can be made easily for special events. Our servers are more in tune with menu items and changes as they occur.”
“TouchBistro is cutting edge! Our guests are wow’d with table-side automated ordering and checkout.”
"TouchBistro is continually improving their features and support to provide an easy to use, industry leading iPad POS software. Updates are frequent and address widespread customer concerns. Their customer service is prompt and professional, no matter the situation."
"The highlight of TB is the low upfront costs. No matter if you're a restaurant just starting out or one that's been in business for years you want to control your variable costs. If you over invest in a POS system you're trapped. You can be up and running with TB in a day or two for under 1k. Restaurants and all small business biggest challenge is cash flow in the early years. We were looking at a 10k reinvestment in Aloha just to update our hardware. After an initial investment of 20k two years prior that just wasn't an option. We were coming off our slow season and getting ready for our first month of Blackhawks and Bulls games. We need cash for payroll, food and Liquor to be ready for the season. Total cost of TB was less then half the cost of updating our Aloha system. TB is also low risk as iPads hold value, we got pennies on the dollar for our old Aloha equipment that was only two years old."
"I like the flexibility to change things as needed menu items, what prints where and when, who has access to what!"
"Its easy to use, quick and affordable. I can change anything on a dime on the admin page."
"When we opened our restaurant last year we started with ShopKeep, but we outgrew it very quickly. We love how TouchBistro allows to manage the restaurant, all from an iPad. Our servers love it because they can serve guests faster and they make less mistakes now. Our kitchen staff adore the TouchBistro Kitchen Display System for making their lives easier without any more lost paper chits. Other our favourite features include, scheduled menus (servers only can see the breakfast menus during breakfast time for example), splitting items/bills in any possible way, moving seats and items around, better integration with payment processor. I would recommend other restaurant's go with TouchBistro from the start; get the POS designed for restaurants that will grow with your business from the beginning. It'll make all things easier."
"We love TouchBistro. It's so efficient and has made the joining and moving of seats and individual items so easy."
“Before TouchBistro, we were using old school paper receipts, which made recording our numbers exhausting. With TouchBistro, we now have more time to focus on generating business and further growing our company."
“I often recommend TouchBistro to other restaurants. The best thing management-wise is the ease of creating and running reports.”
