"Small organizations (those with fewer than 500 employees) spend an average of $7.68 million per ransomware incident."
"When I saw that [Infrascale] offered unlimited archiving, I thought that would be perfect for our customer. It was a major selling point to convince us of the service's value."
"Most people think secure backup solutions like Carbonite or Mozy can be a cure for a compromised machine after they have trouble. The fact is, backups should be done when the machine is not infected, since restoring infected data will just reestablish the malware, and render the backup useless. The malware must be removed before backup."
"It is no longer good enough to get your clients’ data back in hours, they want their operations back in minutes. With Infrascale Disaster Recovery, we can actually do this.”
“With Infrascale, I can say with 100% certainty that I’ll be able to recover from a ransomware infection quickly without having to pay."
"The best part about Infrascale is the peace of mind the rapid failover and reliability delivers. I don’t worry about business continuity reviews, because everything is protected and recoverable."
"With Infrascale, you get an easy to use backup solution at an affordable price.”
“SOS gives me great peace of mind knowing that all my different work and personal computers are being regularly backed up. It also gives me a way to access important files when I’m out of the office.”
“As companies struggle to control corporate content on devices they no longer own, Cirkel Technology has partnered with Infrascale to address this specific issue. With three layers of data encryption (upload, in transit and at rest) and the ability to privately deploy inside a data center of choice our clients have a renewed sense of security and control. We believe that the phenomena known as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) will continue to penetrate the guarded walls of IT infrastructure and organizations must start looking for new ways to address this shift in technology. One of the biggest challenges of mobile, and one that clients are not yet aware of, is what happens when an employee leaves the company yet still has sensitive and confidential corporate content on their personal device? Our relationship with Infrascale gives administrators within an organization centralized control over who has access to what information. When an end user leaves the company, we can simply remove their access. Through our strategic partnership we have enabled our clients with a platform that gives end users the simplicity of a "Dropbox" like solution and companies now have a way to encrypt, manage and collaborate with confidential corporate content. At Cirkel, our goal is to provide companies with a means to control corporate content without managing employees’ personal mobile device. Our continued partnership with Infrascale helps us provide a much needed solution to our clients.”
“Today’s announcement represents the culmination of many months’ careful assessment of the market to find the right associate for the long-term development of data protection services. In selecting Infrascale we believe we have found a partner whose established industry profile and credentials within the small business channel are an ideal fit to help broaden our range of data protection and security services in this space.”
“57% of managed service providers (MSPs) lost 11-20% of their client base, and 13% lost over 50% of their clients after a ransomware attack.”
"With Infrascale all those problems went away, and your backup is so fast. And even restoring the files usually takes a long time. With you guys it’s quick."
"The speed of the IBDR solution’s restore functionality is very quick. It just works and does the job perfectly. I’ve never had any problems with the software. The solution is very stable.”
“Point ICAB at someone's account with their credentials, and click who you want to back up, and you're done. I can manage all the backups myself, and that's for hundreds of mailboxes and thousands of files. It takes minutes a day for me to look at the emails and make sure that everything is running properly."
I use Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery for disaster recovery and onsite backup from various environments. The interface is user-friendly, adjustments are easy, and pricing is favorable. However, file restores could be quicker. Compared to alternatives, Infrascale suits our needs better. What is our primary use case? We're using Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery for disaster recovery and onsite backup from various server environments such as VMware and Microsoft Azure. How has it helped my organization? The benefits of using Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery become evident very quickly. You have the solution on-prem and can restore files and servers on-prem as well. You can set up certain virtual machines on-prem if you need them. If a machine goes down or has an error, you can put the machines into the cloud, which is very important if there's a fire or a disaster, where you really have to get the business working again. It's very quick. I saw those benefits immediately; that was one of the reasons we moved certain customers over to the Infrascale solution. They had different solutions in place before and were not happy with the amount of time it took to restore data or perform disaster recovery. We tested it out and ran some server restores before signing the customer up for the solution. It is very important for my organization that Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery is available via a single dashboard. I have multiple customers, so being able to see all of them in one single dashboard and drill deeper into the servers is very important for me. Infrascale's unified dashboard has helped me save time. Infrascale's ability to restore data is great, fast, and very efficient. What is most valuable? The interface of Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery is very easy to use, and there are no problems. It's set it and forget it. You can make adjustments very easily as well. I appreciate their pricing; backing up the servers is a breeze, and getting them back up again is a breeze as well. You can perform an on-site disaster recovery within minutes and switch over to a virtual environment or a cloud environment. You can do tests, which I appreciate, to be prepared for a disaster. Overall, I appreciate the product very much. For how long have I used the solution? I have been using Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery for over ten years. What do I think about the stability of the solution? There are no problems at all regarding the stability of Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery. What do I think about the scalability of the solution? Scalability with Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery is great, but you need to keep in mind that if you scale up by a certain number of servers, you might require a new appliance both locally and for the cloud. Their appliances are based on an initial consultation, which considers your server number and projected growth rate. If something happens to increase your growth rate significantly during the contract, you might need to replace the appliance. How are customer service and support? I haven't used their technical support for over a year, which speaks volumes about the product quality, but when I needed support, it was very quick and efficient. They did not escalate it to a second level. All the staff working there are very competent. I know some of them by name since I have worked with them many times, which makes it easier to get support. That support is outstanding; I wish a lot of other companies had their level of support. The most valuable aspects of Infrascale’s support for my company are the turnaround time and the resolution time. With Infrascale support, everything has been great. I would rate their support a ten out of ten. However, I do want to add that in the beginning, their support was not that great. After I mentioned my concerns to my dedicated account manager, they made a lot of changes, and since then, the support has been outstanding. How would you rate customer service and support? Positive How was the initial setup? The initial deployment of Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery was very easy. It took about two hours to set it up for all the servers. You can subsequently refine your backup timeframe and retention afterward, but the initial setup to get backups in place is a very quick process. What about the implementation team? Everything for setting up Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery was done by us. We had someone from Infrascale assist us with the appliance setup, but the rest was done by just one person. You don't need a team for that. What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? I appreciate their pricing. We went for this solution for its pricing. If a colleague at another organization is considering Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery but is concerned about the price, I would say they need to negotiate the price and understand how the pricing model works. There were a couple of hiccups during our initial signup regarding the price. For instance, if you back up servers with a certain schedule and retention, it can get expensive if you want to maintain that retention for a long time. Keep in mind, if you change from one provider to another, you have to keep the prior backup in place to retrieve older data. So, when you start with Infrascale, you basically start from scratch with your backups, meaning that you could lose access to anything older than the retention time set with Infrascale. Which other solutions did I evaluate? Before moving to Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery, I evaluated two or three other products, but Infrascale just came out as the top choice for us. We checked Datto before deciding on Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery. Datto had a very difficult way of invoicing and billing. They didn't really have a fee that included everything from restoring to tests; they had all these little additional fees, which were too cumbersome to keep track of.
