"Hi5 is one of the first partners we brought on board in our performance management transformation project and the energy in the room when we brought Hi5 in the first time, was absolute excitement & anticipation! That has seemed to carry through - it's now 2 months down the line and people are still using it and actively engaging it, and I'm seeing people recognise colleagues that I never would have thought would have done that. Especially not via an app. "What I like about Hi5, first and foremost, were the people of Hi5! Having built a relationship with the people of Hi5, I got to know the platform - I think it's very progressive, it's fun, it's light, convenient and we've seen quite an impact beyond just a fun, "silly" app. "I think [the staff] like Hi5 because it's new, different and convenient, and it creates an opportunity for them to recognise their peers in a way that is perhaps less "hard work" - it's easy and spontaneous, and a really fun app to engage with."
"I like the Hi5 platform because you can spontaneously recognise someone, and beyond that you can thank them for what they did on the spot and you don't even have to be at your desk to do it and they get it immediately. "The behaviour that has changed in our group since the start of Hi5? People are happier and they are willing to give each other feedback, which we didn't have before. So, people will go out of their way to look for good things that others have done so they can praise other people. "It's more like a social media type of platform, where they get to recognise somebody and then everybody else sees the recognition. So, just like on Facebook, when everybody likes your photo then everybody else sees it; their recognition is also seen by their peers. So I think that's why [the staff] like Hi5."
