We made the switch to Zoom for Government as soon as it became available — it was important for us to have the security that comes with it. There are a lot of good services out there but they don't meet the security standards for the Department of Defense.
"Zoom offers a variety of features that meet the needs of the education industry. The product is magic, but it’s the people behind the partnership and beyond the tool that we want to work with. Vendors who offer ongoing support and who we can build a relationship with are key for us."
Even though I’ve been on a 4-megabit connection for the last two years, I don’t feel like I’ve missed a step. That would not have been possible without Zoom. Even with other video conferencing technologies, like Teams or Webex, the experience is just not the same. Zoom works in environments where other solutions don’t.
“Before Zoom, my meetings would constantly crash whenever I wanted to convert video and audio files. Zoom automatically saves recordings locally and within the cloud."
"Face-to-face is so much better than phone or chat. Driving from one campus to another doesn’t make sense for productivity. For candidate interviews, Zoom is a much better alternative than spending resources getting the candidate onsite. We can also more easily connect with other educational institutions to share teaching resources."
“The first feedback was – ‘Wow this is easy!’ and once we started rolling it out the adoption was quick; people love Zoom.”
“The quality was so high, it was so reliable and easy to use, Zoom jumped us to a higher level…Certain things that couldn’t be done over the phone can now be done with video, minimizing the need to go to a hospital. We think it’s going to revolutionize healthcare delivery."
“Zoom has high enough quality that it will grow its adoption inside a company simply because people enjoy using it. We can run Skype for Business and Zoom at the same time without any problems. It was important to us that Zoom worked well within the Microsoft ecosystem because we’re a Microsoft shop and still rely on Skype integrations with Outlook. We also have a huge investment in H.323 rooms, and Zoom H.323/ SIP Connectors were great for modernizing those rooms. Other vendors didn’t have that capability or charged way too much."
“This facility and program allows cyber security companies from the UK to collaborate with their stakeholders in an advanced way. It’s been featured in the media many times.”
“Zoom is very receptive to hearing our feedback. We’ve even had feature requests from our colleagues that have made their way into the product.”
“As a non-profit with limited resources, it was important to find efficient tools for our needs, and other solutions weren’t cost-effective. Zoom’s free accounts under the basic licenses made a huge difference when we were having thousands of conversations with people around the globe."
“Zoom was a huge part of our program’s success. If we had gone with a different platform, we likely would have faced challenge after challenge. Once we started using Zoom, we didn’t need to think about it too much. The technology just worked. It already enabled HIPAA compliance and worked well within our thin profit margins as a non-profit community health center.”
“At first some providers were hesitant about adding another layer of technology into their practice. But once we emphasized Zoom was a tool to improve their practice instead of changing it, and once they got over the initial fear of technology, 100% of them have said it is easy to use and have even started encouraging their peers to use it as well.”
“Zoom is just faster, and our entire user community is asking when can we put more Zoom Rooms in. It’s something I can’t speak highly enough about.”
"Once we launched Zoom to other teams, the sales team tried it and loved it. They didn’t mind having customers install the plug in. The overall ease of use and quality of Zoom overrode that initial requirement.”
