"By using Thundertix, we gained the following advantages: We could let people choose their seats. As a result, attendance at the annual event increased. We could better account for ticket revenue (no more cigar box cash drawers) It was easy to deal with customer/ticketing issues. Rain, traffic, wrong credit card, etc were all handled by logging in and having the facts in front of us. A refund was a click instead of a check and an envelope with a stamp on it. We could add fundraising fees and extra offers as part of the ticketing. i.e. Meet the actors, VIP reception, etc We could block VIP seats to honor our biggest donors without “blue tape” over the back of the seats. We could sell an ad to be put on the tickets printed at home and emailed (increased revenue) We looked professional Most important, I could afford it. Other online ticketing systems had much greater fees, per ticket fees and more difficult interfaces."
