"The CT scan gets our component from the real to the digital world. Then Synopsys Simpleware is a key stage in the workflow to get from our 3D X-ray images to ultra-high resolution engineering simulations. I started using Synopsys Simpleware as a PhD student at The University of Manchester's School of Materials in The University of Manchester almost 10 years ago now. It’s been great to see how it’s developed over time, I’m impressed how each year new features are added which increase its usefulness. We found a small region of debonding that kept occurring in the heat exchange component. By creating an image-based model with Simpleware software we were able to quantify its impact on performance and optimise use of the component."
“We were able to achieve a very fast infrastructure setup on the Synopsys Cloud EDA environment within days. The vast selection of EDA tools and IP available on the cloud enabled us to start the design, verification, and backend flow very quickly. The flexibility of using as many licenses as we needed enabled us to obtain fast turnarounds on simulation, verification, and backend flow, which significantly reduced the engineering hours spent on those compute-intensive tasks. The ease of global access provided a single environment for our global R&D team with seamless access."
"We studied the market and identified Coverity’s Test Advisor solution as the only technology which could meet our needs to better target our tests."
"Synopsys’ reputation as an established provider of custom processor design tools was a key factor in our decision to use Processor Designer for the design of our custom DSP. The robustness of the tool allowed us to focus on meeting our chip design goals rather than software tool chain development."
"Synopsys high-quality DesignWare AEON NVM IP enabled us to incorporate the required functionality and tapeout multiple chips on schedule."
"We knew that Synopsys would help us reduce our integration risk and achieve silicon success because of its stringent qualification process for NVM IP and excellent technical support."
"The successful tapeouts of our digipot analog designs demonstrate Synopsys’ ability to provide a reliable NVM IP solution that met the performance, power and area requirements of our innovative chips."
"Synopsys is the only IP provider that offered a silicon-proven data converter solution that met our low-power and high-performance SoC design requirements for LTE and WiMAX applications."
"Our end customer’s aggressive schedule left no room for error. Synopsys DesignWare IP enabled us to achieve first-pass silicon success for our UHF RFID design, just as we had expected with Synopsys’ reputation as a provider of high-quality IP."
"Synopsys delivered an IP solution that worked straight out of the box: the silicon came up and within hours very complicated data sets were streaming through high-speed interfaces. It’s a testament to the quality of DesignWare IP that it functioned exactly as the spec said it would."
"As an established IP vendor with high-quality, silicon-proven MIPI DigRF and Ethernet IP solutions, Synopsys helped us reduce our integration risk and achieve first-pass silicon success."
"The high-quality, configurable DesignWare MIPI DigRF and Ethernet IP solutions were instrumental in helping us deliver this project on time to our customer. We will continue to rely on Synopsys’ DesignWare IP for our future projects."
"Partnering with Synopsys gave us full access to leading IP solutions, expert technical training and exceptional support. This significantly eased our integration efforts and helped us meet our aggressive development schedule."
“We chose Synopsys because it was the only IP supplier that provided both a USB 2.0 PHY and controller as a complete solution, and because of the quality we saw in Synopsys DesignWare Libraries on previous projects.”
"To put it simply, we chose Synopsys IP because of the high-quality products that they deliver. We appreciate that the IP, documentation, and support are very controlled and organized. The quality of Synopsys’ IP exceeded our expectations and enabled us to achieve first-pass silicon success."
