  • "Our research group required a prototyping platform to confirm signal processing algorithms of a new Wireless LAN design. Synopsys HAPS allowed our team to successfully conduct hardware/software co-verification to confirm feasibility and demonstrate operation of new WLAN system circuit designs."

  • "ScanIP has been instrumental in our efforts to understand AF and better treat this arrhythmia. Due to the help from ScanIP, we published 2 papers, presented 6 conference abstracts, applied for a patent, and started a clinical trial called SIMPLE-AF. In our clinical trial, we identify the critical regions that sustain AF based on our finite-element meshes generated from ScanIP and apply a novel ablation strategy to eliminate the minimum amount of tissue needed to interrupt the arrhythmia. So far, we were able to successfully terminate AF in every patient we enrolled."

  • "Synopsys’ high-quality technical support and documentation eased our chip integration and system testing, and was key to helping ensure the success of our SoC."

  • "Due to their digital nature these tasks (Petrophysics Characterisation) could be conducted in fractions of the cost and time and also from rock materials generally non suitable for conventional lab testing like drill cuttings increasing spatial sampling and reservoir properties data quantity. Such capacity could effectively enhance our ability to deliver faster and more information to exploration and production managers."

  • "We’ve done a good amount of testing Simpleware, I’d say by far, produces the highest-quality STLs we’ve found in any software all the tools are very similar the export of the STLs and the quality of the meshes – they’re always watertight they’re always really accurate. If you take your models and load them back against the data, you’ll see that it’s perfect. For the meshes, this is again where Simpleware really stands out. With the export of the STLs, we’ve done a lot of testing, from open-source packages which really shouldn’t be used outside of a clinical setting but we’ve used for testing, up to really high-priced common industry software that you’d find in a hospital. Compared to these, Simpleware models are truly exceptional for their quality, their watertightness they really are just great."

  • "Simpleware ScanIP from Synopsys enabled us to analyze the complexity of the 11T dipole coils at multiple scales using 2D images from optical and scanning electron microscope images. The superconducting cables of the dipole coils have inherent deformations within them that are very difficult to reproduce using CAD models. ScanIP allowed us to visualize and capture these realistic geometries to reproduce with greater accuracy and reproducibility the permanent deformation of the coils. Once the geometries were segmented, we used the FE module from Simpleware software to produce realistic 2D finite element models to obtain stress and strain distributions within microscopic elements from forces originating from global stresses applied to the coil."

  • "The Simpleware model reconstruction provides an essential solution to assess the usability of an AM produced part. The effect of a defect or geometry deviation in a critical location can be quantified. Based on a comparison to the nominal CAD geometry the impact on structural integrity and fatigue life can be evaluated. This workflow provides a key solution to determine the disposition of an AM produced part with deviations from the nominal design."

  • "Altogether, we’ve found Seeker to be much more accurate and easier to use than other application security testing tools. Seeker IAST allows us to improve our secure development process while cutting back on development costs. Synopsys is a vendor that delivers on its promise and more, with a solid offering and a strong team to back that product up. Seeker allows EL AL to apply agile methodology in our development, testing, and release of new software versions in rapid cadence."

  • "A Black Duck Audit expert was available to review the results of the report and to clarify any questions that we had."

  • "All of our core products are using Code Center. About three years ago, we began to use Black Duck SCA when building the CI/CD process for our JDA Luminate product line, newly developed, SaaS-native products. Our goal is full migration to Black Duck SCA by the beginning of 2020."

  • "Black Duck has helped us understand our overall security status, and find and fill security holes."

  • “Every time we have a release candidate or a pull request, it’s run through our application security test orchestration pipeline. The net benefit we’ve found is less extraneous testing, which translates into less data to manage, less confusion trying to reconcile data from duplicate tests, [and] ultimately less stress on our resources. Like most organizations, our resources are already stretched. Intelligent Orchestration has allowed us to focus on higher-value tasks.”

  • “Developing large systems without tools like Coverity is like playing Russian roulette—it just isn’t something you should contemplate. Coverity gives you confidence that you haven’t missed something in your manual review processes, and that equates to an easy decision to make on a simple value-for-money basis.”

  • “BSIMM helped us assess our product security initiative and guide us to where we should go. It is a valuable tool for anyone building a product security program.”

  • “The format that Citi and Synopsys developed offers a great opportunity for team training—dynamic collaboration among the attendees to apply knowledge to common situations and problems faced by the team.”
