“Transferring to SolidWorks was the only logical consequence to ensure that we give our students the best job prospects.”
“The more time we save, the better. SolidWorks software has proven to be a good tool for helping us do that.”
“Designing six products over five years, bringing them to life, selling hundreds of products, winning international awards, and participating in trade fairs was challenging. SOLIDWORKS was indeed one of our most essential tools. We combine the highest performance machines with aesthetic design and confidently continue on our road to becoming a global brand.”
“With SolidWorks Simulation software, we’re minimizing the structural problems we used to deal with on the production floor.”
"SOLIDWORKS saves us time and money because we can iterate quickly on a design, helping us to shorten time-to-market, meet firm deadlines, and ensure product durability and performance."
“We are committed to offering a durable product that you can take out in the field and drop numerous times—or bang around your car—and it will still function properly,”
“The more testing we can do with real people to obtain feedback from actual users, the better.”
“We were charged, fi rst, with confi rming that a PDM system would increase effi ciency, result in greater design reuse, and improve resource utilization, and, second, with choosing the best PDM solution to meet our needs."
“The combination of SOLIDWORKS design and SOLIDWORKS Visualize software speeds up the process because whenever we need to make a change in SOLIDWORKS, the changes get transferred over to Visualize automatically. This allows us to reach final designs that everyone can agree on faster, resulting in a roughly 10 percent reduction in the entire design-through-manufacturing process.”
"SolidWorks helps us design a cooler-looking product and add features a lot faster. We're at least 40 to 50 percent faster during the design cycle."
"With 3D, we catch more errors and issues while building the model and viewing the design, which cuts down on concept mistakes."
"With SOLIDWORKS solutions, our small team can develop new concepts quickly and prove them on the steep, bendy slope of Pike’s Peak, allowing us to redefine what a high-performance automobile can be."
“Typically you would get in, measure it, get out, and fit a piece. Instead Parsons got in the vehicle and did a 3D scan of the inside of the chassis, and imported that data file into SOLIDWORKS. Then we build the roll cage around that 3D model that we scanned. Everything in the software just helps save time, and you can create a whole product that you can pretty much see if it’ll work before you even make it.”
“Most of our business is based on custom development of mill relining systems. Each grinding mill is different and requires a custom, one-off design. However, we believed that 3D would ultimately let us utilize a range of standard components, configurations, and subassemblies, and that eventually we would be able to further automate the design and configuration of each system. Moving to 3D would allow us to speed up turnaround on proposal development, design, production, and assembly."
“With SOLIDWORKS solutions, we’ve grown from a project-based company into a production company.”
