“I will tell them it’s the intuitive system. Like once you’re using it, it’s very intuitive to navigate through it. And then also very user friendly. So even if you haven’t done simulation with VR in the past, this is a system that is pretty intuitive and you can use it as you go.”
“After conducting a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Combat Medic Course for approximately 5 days, the members in the class were able to practice their newly acquired knowledge with our TCCC scenarios in VR. After multiple repetitions in these scenarios, all the members stated they were much more confident in completing the MARCH/PAWS algorithm. They stated they were assured they could complete a hands-on trauma assessment with little to no complications after the VR exposure.”
