"For the development of the Leopard 46 and 40 Powercat’s we made extensive use of the Orca3D software with the CFD extension. This has proven to us to be a very powerful package which gave accurate predictions allowing refinements to the designs which otherwise would not have been possible in the timespan available. Thanks to the excellent support we received with the package the learning curve to use it correctly and effectively was really short. I really cannot recommend Orca3D enough as it has found an excellent way to create a tool to use CFD effectively as a Naval Architect without being CFD specialist as well. The input and output is done in such a way that those with a solid Naval Architectural basis can perfectly understand and use it."
