"Orca 3D is an integral part of vessel design that works seamlessly with the Rhino3D development process. A fully featured Naval Architecture plug-in for the Rhino work interface, Orca3D allows me to check hydrostatics and evaluate performance at will throughout the design spiral as center of gravity shifts and displacement increases or decreases with added features and/or design enhancements. The fact that Orca3D is built into the Rhino work environment allows these checks to be done effortlessly without the need to export back and forth into other modeling or analysis software, thus reducing cycle time.
