"OneStream’s Guided Workflows provides a step-by-step process to allow users to receive immediate visibility to their results while delivering accurate and timely financials to the central team. This has been a huge benefit to the business. Key to this transition has been the user workspaces and dashboards that replaced our custom IT reporting solution."
"The one phrase I would use to describe OneStream is 'great business value' – being able to extend the number of reporting processes in the platform provides a much more structured way of working. We can look at the data with more transparency to see where there may be data quality issues."
"Extensibility is such a powerful feature of OneStream. By extending our corporate chart of accounts to the level of each unique GL system, the data in OneStream is both relevant and inclusive for all our regions. It allows corporate and regions to speak the same language. In our old world with SAP BPC, we were closing the books on Day six and now we’re closing at Day four. That’s something we are incredibly proud of and something OneStream has helped us achieve."
"The biggest benefit of OneStream is that we now have one, unified application supporting multiple processes that’s much easier to maintain. This includes integrated financial consolidation and planning, and integrated capital planning. We have also been able to get account reconciliations out of Excel, providing more controls, easier reporting and alignment with consolidated financial reporting. OneStream is much easier to maintain than our multiple legacy applications and upgrades are literally just a few hours vs. many months and at a high cost with our prior system.”
"Having the ability to change drivers and assumptions by scenario allows us to better understand the impact of certain drivers to our business and provide our board and management teams with information that directly influences our future investments."
"We like to forecast from a bottoms-up level, and with OneStream we are now able to forecast all of our expenses by vendor, by location, by product group and by currency. We’ve also automated our allocation and intercompany processes, which was a huge win because we were then able to get rid of that large Excel® model. OneStream has created a much more efficient process."
“My biggest win as Corporate Controller has been the ability to produce rapidly almost any information I want. So, on day three a full complement of P&L’s in constant currency vs. budget vs. prior year. We are not struggling, and I am not worried that some number could potentially be wrong. This stuff is rock solid.”
“I remember going to the OneStream™ Splash User Conference, and when I asked others about their experience, many times they’d say: ‘It’s true you can upgrade in less than two hours.’ And many people said 45 minutes! Coming from the Hyperion world, an upgrade would typical be lengthy and costly. OneStream makes it seamless.”
"We wanted an off-the-shelf and scalable system that helps us achieve our goal of automating our processes even further. Moreover, we wanted to integrate the entire process from validation to analysis into one system. When Ampleon was founded four years ago, all group functions were disconnected, and are now fulfilled independently. This is still relatively new to parts of the organization. I only see benefits, and I also get feedback from the organization that they see a lot of added value. The figures are much easier to retrieve. The speed of reporting has increased, which leaves us with more time for other activities."
“The deciding factors in selecting OneStream were the 100% customer success rate and that only OneStream offered a unified platform that would not require additional solutions to be purchased and bolted on. Our FP&A team can now focus our efforts on analyzing data as opposed to tracking down templates, status and progress. OneStream has really simplified our processes. All the administrative tasks with Excel® -based budgeting have gone away. We can now spend more time on review, analysis and value-add activities.”
“Once we went live on OneStream, our manual consolidation process went away, and everything became much more efficient. We kicked off the project in January 2019, focusing on consolidations first. Then we rolled right into implementation of our budget process, which was up and running for our 2020 budget cycle. The entire implementation took only nine months to complete. Previously, we would spend a full day linking spreadsheets, and two days manually linking data for cash flow. Now the countries can fill that data into OneStream, and the cash flow is automated. I just go in and apply topside adjustments, taking a two-plus day process down to a couple of hours. Previously, every spreadsheet came into one place for loading, and it was horrendous. OneStream enabled us to spread that responsibility to each country, which has taken two weeks off the budgeting cycle.”
“By automating SAP feeds using connectors with drill back capabilities users can now have visibility to detailed transactions within SAP via this reporting tool, something we simply could not accomplish in our previous environment. OneStream delivers more detailed reporting and analytics in one unified product and application.”
“The consolidation solution provides speed and peace of mind. We can generate the actual reports more rapidly. In addition, there is less checking to do compared to Excel®. In Excel, we felt we needed to check things over and over again, whereas now, we rely on the system. I source things in OneStream, so I know that everything is set up correctly. This provides peace of mind.”
“OneStream in the cloud has provided us the flexibility to address new user requirements more quickly than we could with HFM. Data mapping is much easier and audit capabilities are stronger. And the responsiveness of OneStream support has been amazing, addressing issues quickly and proactively helping us tune performance.”
"Now, Executive Management has a much better understanding of not only how we’re organised but how we’re performing, where we’re spending, what we’re spending and the alternatives we face going forward based on the goals they have set"
