“The name of this cute cartoon character—Oruri-chan—actually originated from a Japanese play on words about making requests. The name reflects the idea that chatbots can respond to all sorts of requests. We were able to prove that we could increase convenience quickly and at low cost through in-house agile development that employed technology we already had, like Microsoft Teams, and by building more awareness of DX. We even won an in-house contest related to DX. We plan to continue proactively promoting this sort of solution to contribute to DX at NTT Communications.”
