“Customers have to trust that what we do with our connected assets is secure and protected. One of the values and benefits of working with Microsoft is we’re working with a partner who brings that credibility and that integrity to the relationship. It’s actually opened up our thinking on what is possible.”
“Prior to 2019, commercializing machine learning models at Ecolab followed a ‘rewrite-and-deploy’ pattern, where model development occurred independent of the application developers.”
"All the trends point to the fact that artificial intelligence, robotics and machine learning is here with us and is just going to grow."
"Having the ability to call on Microsoft’s expertise has been really important. We feel like they are an extension of our own organisation, and they really have our backs."
"Because of our system, the flexibility of Microsoft’s CSP, and the support of Rhipe, we can automate subscription management, accomplish administrative tasks like invoicing and respond quickly to our customers‘ needs."
"From zero to demo in two months is incredible. We easily cut our development cycle in half by using Azure platform services and infrastructure while also significantly lowering our startup investment."
“We don’t have deep expertise in software development or IoT, nor do we have a global datacenter presence. We compared Azure and Amazon Web Services and felt that Microsoft had a huge presence and investment in China that Amazon couldn’t match and a huge datacenter footprint around the world. Microsoft has a great track record in China and has worked to achieve compliance with Chinese government cloud computing regulations.”
“We’ve been making intelligent products for about 10 years, things like digital faucets and showers, but none have had IoT capability. We want to help people live more graciously, and digitally enabling our products is the next step in doing that.”
"When you have and already know Microsoft technology, connecting with Microsoft’s cloud makes things much easier."
“Security is important to us and we never want to store anyone’s email in our servers. This would open us up to a whole host of data protection issues. By utilizing the Azure platform, no email sent requiring a signature ever leaves the Microsoft Cloud environment, which is why we built our service as a relay. In essence, it accepts the message sent from Office 365, performs the operation of adding a signature and then passes it back to Office 365 for sending as normal. It is still Microsoft sending the email; we just add the signature."
“We decided to expand our service to more regional Azure datacenters in order to adhere to data residency and handling laws. This means we now utilize 14 Azure datacenters worldwide, the largest of any email signature management provider on the market. As we grow as a business, the number of Azure datacenters we utilize grows with us!”
"I believe this product has the capability to spread outside of Georgia’s borders. We’ve already made presentations with prosecutors and investigators in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. They’re interested in how we tie together information from our cases to show how gang violence spreads out across multiple states. I predict that we will push this technology out over the future so that law enforcement doesn’t need to worry about county, city, or even state boundaries to become more effective at prosecuting these cases."
"With this new services platform built with open source technologies, running on Microsoft Azure, we have taken a definitive step toward Digital Transformation."
“Our decision makers, whether executives or front-line workers, can’t afford not to be connected to our digital systems and to one another. Our pace of decision making is so fast that we need around-the-clock, reliable, secure access so we can provide and absorb information for fast action.”
"Azure is a great hybrid cloud enabler. We can move some applications to the cloud and leave others running at Smithfield facilities while providing consistent authentication wherever applications run."
