“We at the Maids here in Brandon Florida have been using GPS since March 2010. We started with 3 hard-wired units from another supplier and used those devices until last week. We added a 4th device in late 2010 – and added our 1st GPS to Go device last spring. Our use of GPS is unique in that we have developed an in-house application that combines data from our GPS suppliers with job schedule information from ServiceCEO allowing us to track not only where are vehicles are, but where they are supposed to be. GPS To Go’s service has proven to be very reliable, and their “event driven” device reporting methodology has proven to be far superior to other suppliers “every 2 minutes” reporting. We end up with more frequent updates of vehicle position and status when the vehicle is en-route, and eliminate the wasteful “every 2 minute” reports of the vehicle spending the night or weekend in the office parking lot.
