We’ve worked with Entrinsik for 20 years, and we trust their ability to deliver the solutions we need. The SEMtek product is really our bread and butter. We have three databases – for our programmes in Canada, the US and the UK – and each has more than 700,000 names contacts. Its primary functions are registration for events, order entry, payment processing, data mining, segmentation and analysis. There really is no other product in this price point that does what SEMtek does for us every day.

SEMtek has served as the event management solution of choice for our global group of companies for many years. With the addition of the Informer tool it now offers a quick and easy solution for data extraction for analysis.

I would have to take the information from Touchnet and manually input it into a spreadsheet. If I needed information on a student or someone else did, I would be scrambling to make sure my own records were up to date.

The cost for the SEMtek and Informer products was realistic and head and shoulders above the competition’s prices for what we got. It can do all we want it for. Our previous system had no edit checks on field inputs, so we could put phone numbers in name fields etc., and so SEMtek’s data control checks are just great. User Defined fields save so much time; meaning we can respond to the users needs without redoing or modifying applications, and you can make report queries on UDF’s. The Entrinsik staff is just great – they are really intelligent people to talk to. The smartest idea to compliment SEMtek reporting was Informer ad-hoc reporting – it is so wonderful.

The software was very outdated and the furthest thing from user friendly. The system was also not compliant with our security regulations.

It was really hard on our office. We couldn’t transfer students to other classes or it would mess up our budget for the class. It was a lot of legwork on our end by all staff.

Semtek Registration Software is very good and works so well. I recommend it to everyone, and I always get asked the same question: How does Entrinsik respond when you have a problem? The answer is simple: the staff is the best. Dennis is very easy to talk to and calming, and Brian is just the greatest! When or if I have a problem, I feel like I am their only customer even though I know I’m not!” Informer reporting has the ability to get information out in a variety of formats. Many others promise it but they cannot do adhoc reports on the fly like this.

We were impressed by SEMtek's ability to provide a single, integrated database for managing everything from marketing programs to the scheduling and registration of students. This includes all the documents and letters that go with such a process ‐ acceptance and confirmation letters, cancellation notices, receipts and so on. It's very comprehensive.

Semtek and Informer has allowed SPE’s customer care team to double the speed and accuracy of order entry. There’s virtually no report Semtek and Informer can’t produce. Hundreds of customer reports are being utilized by our end users every day. It’s top notch and I would highly recommend it.

Entrinsik was able to copy our existing Austrailian database for use in our new location. This made the process of setting up a new database for use in another country which had a different currency and a different taxation regime very straightforward.”.
