"Excel is just not a tool for managing HR cases. If you want to manage HR cases efficiently and effectively you have to have the right tool. Excel is good for doing spreadsheet calculations but when you want people to be able to record and create cases on the fly, have them routed etc then using spreadsheets (usually used in combination with a shared inbox) is not a good tool for case management."
“We chose Dovetail for many reasons. First, it met our requirements of being web-based and easily customizable. It also used familiar technology, which allowed us to easily customize any aspect of the application, as well as integrate it into our other applications.
