“The Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN) holds its annual AIDS Walk Lansing/East Lansing event each year in September. For many years the event was part of a larger series of AIDS Walk events throughout the State of Michigan that fell under the banner of AIDS Walk Michigan with Kintera providing the website and support. When AIDS Walk Michigan was disbanded, LAAN and several other cities decided that they would continue with separate walks. LAAN was looking for an option that would be both user friendly and less expensive to operate. Qgiv’s peer-to-peer fundraising platform provided that solution. LAAN has been very satisfied with the relative ease of set up and site maintenance, the ability to create a very unique and event specific website, readily secure various reports, and the support that is consistently provided as needed. “At the Grand Rapids Public Museum, our mission is to be a living monument of the artifacts, ideas, and stories of Grand Rapids and West Michigan, as well as to inspire passionate curiosity and deeper understanding of the world around us. As the Development Administrative Database Manager, my responsibilities include supporting the Development Team in their fundraising efforts, as well as managing our donor database, Bloomerang, and other technologies used to support our events, like Qgiv. Our organization hosts our two largest fundraising events in the fall and spring every year. In 2022, we decided to switch from Greater Giving to Qgiv’s auction and event registration platforms to increase our efforts. The gala was highly successful, raising over 130% of our goal, thanks to the help of Qgiv. We really enjoy Qgiv’s integration with Bloomerang. It allowed us to streamline our processes, so we don’t have to enter constituent information manually, and it minimized the chance of errors in our database. “Qgiv is essential to Bikes Not Bombs’ capacity to hold and manage events. Our annual Bike-a-Thon is a four-route bike ride for 500 riders, and with the Qgiv peer-to-peer platform, we can set up a web page where riders easily register, form teams, solicit sponsors and accept donations. It’s a seamless process and very easy to use. Qgiv has made us more successful because it saves us tons of time by allowing our event participants to handle their own sponsorships and fundraising. It provides easy tools for riders to enhance their fundraising. We use Qgiv to export donations and donor data to our CRM, Bloomerang, every single day. I just set the integration to export automatically daily, and it’s done. I don’t need to do a thing. Qgiv exports the donor name, all contact information, donation amount, date, and type of donation. Setting up this integration has saved us hundreds of hours of manually entering data. We’d be lost without it. Qgiv is intuitive even for non-tech people, and if I do have questions, I can reach out to the Customer Support Center. They’re always there and ready to help!”
