"Sochi International Airport is one of the most important transport hubs in the region and in the country as a whole and the airport must be working efficiently for the 2014 Olympics to be a success. We regard the reconstruction of Sochi Airport and the creation of a world-class “air complex” as one of our largest and most prestigious investment projects. While constructing the new terminal we paid special attention to creating the technological IT-component which would support growing passenger traffic and the rapid pace of development at the airport. We called in our strategic IT-development partner Asteros to carry out the project as they have done similar work at Russia’s southern airports and have world-class experts in the air transport sector."
