“In 2019, Barnsley Council called a climate emergency in response to the government’s wish to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. We’re hoping the Council to be carbon neutral by 2040… As part of the decarbonisation of our public assets, which is 2% of the boroughs, we’ve got £4.3 million of government funding. We partnered with Ameresco to implement infrastructure upgrades at mulitiple sites with a range of solutions that have cut down on the Council’s energy usage.”
“The project investment has enabled us to significantly reduce our energy consumption across a range of sites, resulting in lower carbon emissions and energy costs and assisting us in our aim of achieving net-zero emissions.”
“As a University, we are taking a leading role in our community and doing our bit to tackle the global climate crisis and build a better future. While there is still a long way to go, this major decarbonisation project will allow us to create our own renewable electricity and run our buildings more efficiently which is going to have a considerable impact here in West London, and further afield.”
“This enables us to put 131 acres of underutilized land to long-term, sustainable use for Hawai’i at a time when the cost and reliability of worldwide energy supplies is of great concern. The project reflects the Navy’s core commitment to energy security and resiliency for America.”
"This project allows Sudbury to turn the non-productive, closed landfill into an asset that will help Sudbury manage energy costs, reduce greenhouse gases and contribute to renewable energy generation in Massachusetts."
"This project is a great example of commitment and collaboration by state and local government personnel, public and private interests, and volunteer efforts."
“This exciting project demonstrates Stockbridge’s commitment supporting sustainable renewable energy solutions, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing annual energy costs and effectively utilizing Town-owned land. It’s a win-win no matter how you look at it. We’re utilizing otherwise unusable land to generate renewable power, all while saving the Town about $60,000 annually in electricity cost reduction and new tax revenue. Over the 20-year life of this solar PV facility, the Town’s projected economic benefit is upwards of $1 million.”
“Yampa Valley Electric Association is proud to be part of this landmark project that will create locally-generated electricity for our communities. This initiative perfectly aligns with our mission to provide reliable and sustainable energy solutions to our stakeholders.”
"The Chicago Smart Lighting Program is off to a great start, delivering modern, reliable, energy-efficient lighting that is already improving quality of life in Chicago neighborhoods. The new state-of-the-art smart lighting management system will automatically notify us when lights need to be serviced, addressing one of the top reasons people call 311. This program is a great example of how we are building a new Chicago for the 21st Century."
"The saying ‘You can’t manage what you can’t measure’ is true. To craft a vision for the future of our parks, the Department must understand its needs. We need a database of all of our systems that shows lifecycle, risk, priority, and the dollars needed now and, in the future, to sustain our levels of service. With the facilities condition assessment data in AssetPlanner®, we can clearly see the investment needed to deliver the services that our public expects and requires."
“Despite the large scope and extended period of execution (18 months) with occupied school buildings, Ameresco lived up to their promises of providing quality service and products with minimal disturbance to the on-going business of the school division. I would recommend Ameresco to other organizations interested in pursuing performance-based energy services contracts."
"This agreement and these projects will lead to cleaner air, reduce our electricity costs, support our local economy and help to address climate change, one of the biggest public health issues we face today."
"Ameresco has played a significant role on the project by designing. constructing. financing and operating a 4.2 MW combined heat and power facility that will help the City meet its financial and environmental goals. Ameresco's project team utilized good quality control. customer service and site safety to deliver a facility that exceeded our expectations."
“We are thankful to Ameresco with whom we forged a good partnership to achieve maximum reuse of materials from the former hospital and demonstrate that sustainable deconstruction can be successfully implemented to help advance circular economy goals and environmental development. To meet our climate goals and lower our total carbon impact, it is essential to incorporate all opportunities for reuse, especially of elements, like steel and concrete that take a large amount of energy to make.”
“Wells Fargo aims to meet its energy goals in a way that curbs climate change. We believe you can protect the planet and grow the economy at the same time. By significantly expanding our onsite solar generation, we are delivering impact at the local level and helping to accelerating a just transition to a low-carbon future.”
