“In 2019, Barnsley Council called a climate emergency in response to the government’s wish to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. We’re hoping the Council to be carbon neutral by 2040… As part of the decarbonisation of our public assets, which is 2% of the boroughs, we’ve got £4.3 million of government funding. We partnered with Ameresco to implement infrastructure upgrades at mulitiple sites with a range of solutions that have cut down on the Council’s energy usage.”
“The project investment has enabled us to significantly reduce our energy consumption across a range of sites, resulting in lower carbon emissions and energy costs and assisting us in our aim of achieving net-zero emissions.”
“As a University, we are taking a leading role in our community and doing our bit to tackle the global climate crisis and build a better future. While there is still a long way to go, this major decarbonisation project will allow us to create our own renewable electricity and run our buildings more efficiently which is going to have a considerable impact here in West London, and further afield.”
"When the construction is complete, the Academy will reduce total electricity imported from the grid by nearly 80 percent. The appreciable benefit to the neighborhood and region could not have been possible without the two years of planning and design efforts and the partnership between our Coast Guard engineers, Eversource management, and the technical team from Ameresco."
“The use of energy performance contracts allows the Coast Guard to address critical infrastructure improvements in a timeframe that would be unachievable with customary methods and provides holistic solutions to complex issues. Leveraging partnerships and finding unique solutions is how the Coast Guard is able to accomplish mission critical improvements with our limited resources.”
“For years, Town leadership, staff, and community volunteers have been working diligently to identify and implement meaningful energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. With today’s ribbon cutting, we celebrate another milestone in our journey to a more sustainable future.”
“Royal Marsden Hospital worked with Ameresco who designed and installed our new CHP as well as de-steamed the hospital. This complex project was delivered during the COVID Lockdown. We worked with Ameresco to address all challenges that arose during construction.”
“Our partnership with Ameresco came at a crucial time for RMH. We originally utilized the invoice processing module to help assist us with not only getting our invoices paid on time, but with their thorough audit process, paid with confidence. Our partnership then grew into utility procurement services. Their subject matter experts quickly identified areas of opportunity within our markets to help reduce energy costs. We value our partnership with Ameresco and have realized monumental savings from their services.”
“I applaud Ameresco, a leading energy services company, for its role in bringing clean, renewable solar power to state agencies. Federal stimulus funds are helping our agencies to lead by example, installing a total of 4 megawatts of solar capacity on more than 20 facilities and contributing to the growth of the clean energy economy in Massachusetts.”
“The innovative, tri-level renewable solution for Parking Lot 1 is the most unique aspect of our project, and is the first of its kind in Massachusetts. Beneath the parking lot, we have 115 geothermal wells, 500-feet deep, to function as our heating and cooling source. On the surface, we have parking for 320 cars, in addition to electric charging stations for up to 6 cars. Above the lot, we have a solar canopy with a 1 million kWH/year electric generation capacity, providing renewable energy. This renewable solution provides tremendous strides in supporting and help to achieve our sustainability goals.”
“The City of Wichita Falls has owned its own street lighting system for 35 years. With Ameresco’s help, the City was able to reduce its street lighting electrical budget from $1.1 million to $250,000 per year!”
"The billing accuracy, as well as the improvement in customer service, made this project well worth the money."
“Climate change is measured globally but felt locally. So we’re helping communities like London build a clean energy future, support local jobs and lower emissions.”
“We are thankful to our partners at Ameresco for helping us maximize our investment in clean energy and for producing work that will enable the city to lower our electricity consumption and emissions, and in turn move us towards our goal of carbon neutrality.”
"Evansville is dedicated to supporting projects and initiatives that improve the environmental, social and economic health of our community. This is a great example of how we can partner with businesses to Achieve positive results."
