Aeroseal offers a proven duct sealing technology that tests and seals air ducts from the inside. The technology was developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 1994 with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA and others. Their computer-controlled process internally seals leaks in air distribution and ventilation ductwork by injecting a fog of aerosolized sealant particles.
"Finding out about this new approach to duct sealing was a huge relief. The innovation turned a nightmare situation into a relatively minor problem. It allowed us to stay on schedule and ensured the new dormitory is the model of energy efficiency it was designed to be."
