


Origin Bank, formerly known as Community Trust Bank, has been committed to serving their community since 1912. Savibank first opened as Business Bank, serving the Skagit Valley Community on April 11, 2005. 270 shareholders invested in the idea of a locally owned community bank that would serve local businesses and professionals.
Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, it is their mission to build trusting relationships with customers by providing friendly, personal financial services. The bank was incorporated and opened for business in early 1872 in S.M. Steeley's bank rooms located in the Southern Michigan Hotel building next to the public square. It was felt that the bank needed its own building so land was cleared on the corner of Monroe and Chicago Street and construction began. Southern Michigan National Bank opened its doors at its new location in July 1872. During the Great Depression, many banks suffered.
