TrueContext FAQs

  • Who is TrueContext best for - their role(s) within what kind of companies.

TrueContext is built for any organization with a field service team. Our platform is incredibly scalable, so while it’s predominantly used for large enterprises, TrueContext works for businesses of any size with a minimum of 5 subscriptions.

Our low-code solution empowers employees without coding experience to build custom apps that provide visibility into their workflows, collect field data, and locate gaps for operational improvements.

Frontline workers, line of business leaders, IT directors, and operations executives all benefit from the ProntoForms solution.

  • How does TrueContext benefit them?

Line of business leaders: TrueContext makes it possible for line of business leaders to build powerful custom apps without a developer to track, analyze, and continuously optimize processes. Our deployed apps help improve service delivery, technician productivity, and compliance with step-by-step workflow guidance, reporting, and output documents for stakeholders.

Frontline workers: TrueContext’ mobile form apps make it easy for frontline workers to collect data on their mobile device, even without network connectivity. Field staff can access company data in the field and automatically share the results with back-office systems, cloud services, and people without going to-and-from the office.

IT directors: ProntoForms helps meet the growing and evolving demand for apps by allowing IT to transfer app-building into the hands of process owners. Without in-house app building, IT can focus on larger value-adding projects.

Operations executives: ProntoForms streamlines field data into a scalable system—paired with analytics means that executives can track growth, identify areas to reduce costs, and discover opportunities for revenue generation.

  • How technical do users need to be to use TrueContext's software?

TrueContext is built to be simple and intuitive for any user. Our low-code platforms’ drag-and-drop capabilities mean that users can create apps with zero coding experience. We offer both out-of-the-box integrations with leading software and have a professional service team that can tackle complex workflows and integrations.

  • What makes TrueContext a leader in this space?

What makes us truly great is our ability to bridge gaps between tech stack software. We are a mobile front-end that extends into the field with robust integrations, customizable forms, and data collection workflows.

Our position as a leader is externally validated. TrueContext is a field-focused solution featured as one of 18 out of 200 solutions in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP). • Who are TrueContext's biggest competitors (3-5 companies)?

  • How/why is TrueContext better than those competitors (or most others in their market)? What about TrueContext is unique, stronger, easier, etc.?

TrueContext is built for fieldwork. It’s not a blanket, all-in-one solution for general business automation and this means TrueContext is field-focused and enterprise-ready. It can handle complex tasks and workflows to extend the existing infrastructure with popular software integrations. If you use a legacy system, TrueContext can connect to almost any data source with APIs and webhooks.

The UI/UX is also incredibly easy to use both in the office and in the field. TrueContext is designed to mimic the devices that field technicians already use, which means it requires almost no onboarding. If you do need help, TrueContext’ support team is world-class and are experts in solving field service issues.

TrueContext has also recently included web-hosted customer-facing forms —namely customer satisfaction and site readiness forms—to allow customers to send pre/post service event forms to customers who are not subscribed to TrueContext and full gain visibility into service calls.

  • Describe the implementation process and timeline for TrueContext software.

TrueContext is easy to implement—many forms can be realistically deployed in under an hour. The overall process and timeline depend largely on the complexity of the customer’s deployment and whether they wish to build their solution themselves or use our professional services.
