"About 4 years ago I was looking for a free (preferably open source) tool to keep track of our companies assets. We used to keep records of laptops in Jira and called it a CMDB. So, I started a browser and searched for open source CMDB's. Tried one product which looked promising (can't remember the name), but was a b*tch to set up and use. It was not flexible and lacked some features I needed. So Excel came to the rescue (sort of). Since our laptops are depreciated and we need to buy new ones I decided to restart my quest for the ultimate tool. This time the search argument was not CMDB but Asset Management. And I found this! Been playing around with it for a few days now, managed to import some information, played around with the API and see great possibilities for this tool. I really like the 'Accept assets' functionality (and the signature functionality works a charm on a 2-in-1 laptop), and the deployment options. All in all functionality is great and even our financial department is charmed by it :) So, Thanks for a great tool!"
