ShipMonk is ideal for eCommerce businesses of all sizes who are looking to scale their operations without the hassle of complicated or prohibitive technology. Our software is most often used by business owners, support specialists, and inventory controllers.
ShipMonk's software provides order, inventory, and warehouse management capabilities so that business owners can fully manage all aspects of their fulfillment. Merchants are able to monitor inventory levels, upload new SKUs, track orders, access customer information, oversee product returns, calculate shipping costs, and more. We're also attentive to feedback, regularly updating and perfecting software features according to our merchants' needs.
As robust as the ShipMonk software is, very little technical ability is needed in order to access and use it. We specifically designed our interface so that it was accessible to everyone, as we firmly believe that technological barriers should never impede business leaders from taking advantage of all that eCommerce has to offer. We also provide A+ support to assist with using our software.
Ever since ShipMonk's inception, we've emphasized innovation, which is truly the core of everything we do. The rise of eCommerce has created a gap in the logistics industry, which sometimes struggles to perform at the pace necessary to keep up with changing market trends. Every aspect of our company, from our software to the employees we hire, has been designed and implemented with our merchants in mind. We don't believe in convoluted technology or staying on the beaten path just for the sake of it. ShipMonk is a leader in the world of logistics because we go beyond what's expected, focusing instead on what can be invented... or reinvented.
ShipBob, Shipwire
While we respect our competition, we're firm believers in our services. After extensive testing and developing, it's hard not to be. We understand ShipMonk may not be for everyone, but our ability to connect to others in a personable, meaningful way is at the core of our growth. Creating and nurturing relationships with our merchants is a tenet of how we choose to do business, and it's this kind of commitment and dedication that sets us apart from the rest.
Besides our personal engagement, our software and technological abilities come out on top and are highly rated by our merchants. Our software is intuitive and our fulfillment services are specifically catered to various forms of eCommerce including direct-to-consumer shipments and subscription orders.
Exciting features we're implementing in the near future are an optimized return process for our merchants, upgrades to our inventory management portal, new partners and direct integrations for omnichannel fulfillment, and much more to come in 2023!
We integrate with over 75 shopping carts, marketplaces, and solution providers. Some of our most popular partners are Shopify, Magento, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, SPS Commerce, and a handful of RMA reverse logistics providers.

We try to keep our pricing as straightforward as possible. Essentially, it works like this:
We go off pricing tiers, which changes depending on the service being chosen (eCommerce, crowdfunding, and subscription box fulfillment are the most popular). Then, the pricing tiers are based on the merchant's monthly order volume. These tiers are used to determine pick & pack or kitting costs. In the case of eCommerce, there is an additional charge if the order has more than one item. For crowdfunding and subscription box fulfillment, the initial kitting costs cover up to 4 and 5 items, respectively. If the volume exceeds 10,000 monthly orders, pricing becomes customized.
Aside from picking & packing and kitting, we also charge for storage and shipping. Storage is broken down into bins and pallets. Bins, depending on their size, range from $1 to $4. Pallets are $20. The cost is prorated on a monthly basis. Shipping is difficult to calculate as it depends on several factors, like weight and destination. However, due to ShipMonk's size and order volume, we have negotiated with carriers like FedEx and DHL for discounted rates.
There are no setup or receiving fees. If the merchants has a special task for the warehouse team, we charge $45/hour per person. In order to make sure our warehouse is being utilized to capacity, we expect our merchants to spend at least $250 on picking & packing or kitting every month. This usually works out to about 100 orders. We call this the monthly minimum fee. If a merchant ships, say, only 50 orders and is paying $2.50 for picking & packing, they would have spent only $125, meaning we would bill them the remainder of the monthly minimum ($125). If a merchant exceeds the minimum organically, then we would not charge them anything extra.

No. However, we do software demos for prospective merchants before they decide to move forward so they can get a taste of what's in store.
