"I have been using Rguroo Statistical Software in my Beginning Statistics course for over two years. Students use the software in the classroom during activities, homework, and lab assignments; I also use it regularly when I lecture. The ability to share several graphs, data, and analyses with students in a single .rgr file allows the classroom activities to proceed efficiently. Having access to the data repository allows me to find interesting datasets to use in problems for assessments. Furthermore, the probability calculator feature means that students do not need to purchase an expensive calculator to find probabilities for any distribution. Rguroo allows students to work with real data through a user-friendly interface that helps meet both the student learning outcomes and the ASA's GAISE guidelines, all while covering the ambitious list of topics that a beginning course in statistics at a community college will typically cover."
