"Prior to using Qgiv, we had a very manual process for online giving that was slow and cumbersome. Now, the system is easier and provides immediate processing. It’s more efficient for our team, and the donors appreciate the instant response. Since switching to Qgiv, rather than a four- to five-step process in-house, it’s become much more streamlined. We’ve seen an increase in online donations because we now promote this option. In the past, we didn’t even talk about recurring gifts because it wasn’t as simple. "We were supposed to do our Spellebration event, which is our annual gala for about 350 guests, at the end of March 2020, but made the decision to postpone it until June and make it virtual. It was our first time doing a virtual event and one of the first major virtual events in Grand Rapids, so we didn’t have a ton of data to go on. We figured a lot of it out as we went! We used Qgiv’s text-to-donate program for an event that went really well the previous September, so we knew we wanted to do something similar. Leading up to our event, we set up a Fundraising Hub and linked our text-to-donate donations so they showed up in real time on our campaign thermometer. Our Spellebration 2020 event surpassed our $15,000 goal! We raised $15,454—that’s 103% of our goal. The Customer Experience team was amazing!
