"Through their Adopt a Nonprofit Program, Providence Strategic Consulting built, launched and maintained for two months free of charge, the Facebook page of Community Action Partnership of Kern’s newest program, the East Kern Family Resource Center. EKFRC is based in the high-needs desert community of Mojave but also serves Rosamond, California City, North Edwards, Boron and Tehachapi. Providence truly understands nonprofits’ need for effective promotion of their programs and services—often on a shoestring budget—and teaches them how they can do that for FREE by capitalizing on the power of social media and such attention-getting tools as tags, hashtags, links, creative photos and video, shares and more. Our East Kern Family Resource Center’s presence in the desert and Tehachapi mountain communities is more solid, relevant and visible thanks to the social media marketing support we received from Providence, which also created a logo for this program, just for the asking.
