Such a method allows a reduction of casting technologies design / finalizing costs through adjustment of the gating/feeding system structure and temperature/time characteristics of the technological process using a computer model of the casting, not the casting itself. Thanks to modeling, the experimental production quickly achieves the first samples of castings. The modeling and analysis of serial technologies in some cases allow for developing recommendations to reduce the level of shrinkage defects in castings."
