ONU founders were at a small trade show in Livonia, Michigan, showing off some of their company’s latest 3D-based mobile applications. At one point, a local product designer walked up and asked why he couldn’t review his CAD designs with his clients on a tablet. That seemingly simple question planted the seed that ultimately resulted in the creation of ONU. The original idea was to provide an easy way for product manufacturers to display their products on any mobile device in 3D.
