Ambra Health is a cloud-hosted medical imaging system for practices of all sizes including medical groups, hospitals, contract research organizations, and radiology clinics. It provides cloud-based VNA and PACS tools that facilitate the effortless transfer of medical imaging between EMR/EHR systems and multiple locations. The software offers cloud-hosted storage for all kinds of medical imaging documents. You can directly upload imaging from separate EHR solutions and also do ad hoc transfers. Patients can use the patient portal to upload previous imaging from home. You can utilize a referring physicians’ portal to get a patient’s images before admitting them.

Ambra also facilitates image exchange between clinics in trauma cases for referrals and second opinion collaboration. In addition, the software enables frequent high-amount image transfers through point-to-point links to transfer from PACS and DICOM modalities, and RIS through HL7.

You can store and access a range of file formats including DOC, TFF, JPEG, and others. In addition, the universal viewer can be merged with single sign-on to enable practitioners to access patient images from any tablet, Mac, or PC so that they can compare images, make annotations, and perform other tasks.

You can customize Ambra to fit particular trial requirements by generating custom fields for the image upload procedure, and custom routing regulations based on the trial demands. Downloadable in-depth reports include vital information like when a fresh timepoint is created, viewed, updated, and shared with another provider for full transparency.
