"NPWS uses boardwalks to provide safe and easy access to spectacular locations through sensitive environments. The system allowed us to choose the detailed location of the walkway on site. The use of DuraGal RHS as bearers provided longer spans to minimise the number of footings and ground disturbance during construction, allowing us to avoid disturbing sensitive features such as rocks, plants or trees. The use of circular section handrails allowed us to achieve complex curves so that the finished product blended with the environment. DuraGal, combined with a durable paint finish gives us a reliable structure with a long life."
