gGastro® Suite by Modernizing Medicine® Gastroenterology

“I am the Clinical Director at the Santa Maria Digestive Diagnostic Center. We currently have four physicians. In 2006, we purchased gCare 3x for the endoscopy reports and the nurses notes. As soon as the vital sign monitor interface became available we purchased it and it was a true time saver. We are patiently waiting for the interface in gGastro 4x. At the beginning of 2007, our physicians went live in their offices with gCare 3x it really streamlined our work flow between the offices and the Endoscopy Center. Our choice of gGastro as our EHR solution was based in part on it being GI specific, integration with the Endoscopy Center and to meet meaningful use. We have two more physicians joining our medical practice next month. They won’t be using gGastro until August. We are dreading getting paperwork from their offices. We were very apprehensive at the being but the implementation staff was excellent. Currently gMed is growing very rapidly but they are hiring new support staff to help keep up with the demands.”
