“In order to facilitate the management of H-E-B’s Annual Feast of Sharing event in Corpus Christi (2012), we needed to find a volunteer registration platform that would allow us to maneuver quickly, easily and affordably. It also needed to provide us the ability to capture registrations for and coordinate with approximately 800+ volunteers within a 4-5 week registration period. Galaxy Digital’s Get Connected system offered all that and more. We were able to post over 40 different volunteer opportunities that covered multiple 2-3 hour shifts. It allowed us to provide detailed instructions including special requirements for volunteers such as whether or not a food handlers permit would be required as well as where and how to obtain one.
