“SacTrak SaaS solves problems from a simple to a sophisticated level. On a simple level, it allows project sponsors to directly submit amendments easily through a web-based application, as opposed to other solutions available to the state that require submissions via email or pen and paper plus a full-time staff member to manually update all of the projects. On a sophisticated level, our tool has nightly synchronization updates with the FMIS database on whether projects have obligated or de-obligated federal funds as well as nifty reporting features. Someone could ask for the 10-year history of funding and programming in our region and we could quickly and easily answer most funding questions. Our system also gives us access to version history, obligation history, draft amendment submittals, final amendment submittals, and an array of different ways to process data that agencies without our software are simply unable to do. If I went to go work at one of our other regions with a similar amount of project data, I would make it the top of my list to switch to software like SacTrak [ProjectTracker] by EcoInteractive. It not only saves us an FTE but streamlines our live data collection and accuracy. I wouldn’t want to do this job without our software.”
