"What I like about cin7 over other systems that we’ve used is it’s not completely locked down. If you do make a mistake in a lot of other systems you have to journal your way out of it. What that means is that whilst for the bean counters they could use counterbalances and they’re happy, but it means that your data are corrupted. If you have a lot of journal entries, it becomes very difficult to realise the data and get any good insights out of them. My preference is to go back and actually correct the data, rather than counter with a journal."
