  • Who is Badger Maps best for - their role(s) within what kind of companies.

    Badger is for all companies that have field sales teams or field sales reps who have to visit their customers face-to-face and want to optimize their daily routes and schedules to be more efficient.

  • How does Badger Maps benefit them?

    The Visualize feature gives sales reps the ability to see their customers on the map in color depending on specific criteria. Those criteria are completely customizable and some examples are days since last check-in, sales stage, priority, industry or sales volume. It is also possible to filter customers by these criteria so they only see the ones that they want to see on the map. This feature is great because it helps sales reps prioritize, get a better overview of their different types of customers and focus on their most relevant ones.

    The Lasso tool simplifies the process of creating routes. Reps can circle the customers on the map that they want to include in their route and Badger automatically creates and optimizes that route for them. This works on the Web version by drawing a circle around the pins with the mouse, as well as on the iPhone and iPad by circling the pins with the finger. This feature is especially helpful when many accounts are involved. When lassoing the accounts, sales reps can also mass update them instead of selecting them one by one.

    The Places feature is a lead generation tool. It allows sales reps to search for leads in their sales territory and discover new opportunities easily. They can for example search for dentists and Badger will show them all the dentists in their area. By clicking on a specific one, it also shows their information such as name, website, phone number and email. They can then add this new lead to the route or even to the accounts. It allows sales reps to quickly find a new lead to visit if a customer cancels an appointment last minute.

    Built-in calendar integration on the iPhone, iPad or Android devices allows reps to add their optimized routes as appointments on their calendar with just a couple taps. All routes are pushed to the calendar taking into account things like traffic, so reps get to their appointment on time.

    With the Check-in feature sales reps can check-in with customers while out in the field and add notes and details about the appointments.

    Users don't need any technical skills as the app is easy to use. How to use the different features etc. will be explained in a demo by Badger's customer success team.
