"We implemented SuccessFactors’ SPRAC and SPRAC Compensation products a couple years ago, prior to Symyx’s merger with Accelrys. We remain satisfied with our implementation and plan to continue using their products post-merger. We selected SuccessFactors because we believed their product would help us achieve our key business objectives of: a shift to pay for performance; a move away from generalized performance reviews to more specific competency based reviews (to use as a development tool for employees); and the writing assistant was key in helping managers develop and provide feedback to direct reports. Ultimately, this implementation has helped us eliminate an old system and enabled us to drive key behaviors across the company. A key person during our implementation was Lyle, Senior Professional Services Consultant with Aasonn. Lyle was instrumental in not only helping us understand how best to use the SuccessFactors modules, but also in driving us toward completion of the project within the agreed timeline and budget. Because of his extensive knowledge and skill specifically with the product and HR business processes in general, he was able to lead the configuration of the modules in a very proactive and educational way for our entire team.
